Math is the Secret Language of Art

The face is really a combination of shapes!

One of the reasons I fell in love with art is being able to see the symmetries, perfections and imperfections within a picture, painting or drawing. As an artist this helps you create a beautiful composition within a photo. Later on I realized that this is a direct relationship with math. Using the skills students learn geometry they could take a photo and break it down into shapes, explore symmetry, geometrical patterns and also learn about what good composition means in art.

This fibonacci sequence is a natural forming pattern within nature and can be a helpful tool to create beautiful images .
